Why should I take this course?
Estate planning attorneys have specialized legal knowledge of wills, trusts and estates. Clients seeking to prepare an estate plan look to estate planning attorneys for legal advice regarding distribution of assets, estate taxes and guardianship of minor children, among other things. Estate planning paralegals do not dispense legal advice, nor do they provide direct representation. However, they do provide supervising attorneys with support and assistance by performing a wide variety of tasks related to estate planning and probate.
This course is required for our online paralegal certificate and for the NALA paralegal certification exam. The 65 clock hours for this course will count towards the 900 clock hours required to qualify to sit for the NALA paralegal certification exam.
